Just watched CBS's Scorpion. No spoilers or anything, but there is a scene with a Ferrari 458 driving at a high rate of speed. The action sequence cuts to a shot of three pedals, and the driver mashes the clutch and then accelerates faster, like Fast & Furious style.
Pretty sure that's inaccurate...
Tv show about super-nerds forgets about the most powerful nerd: car nerds.

I love how in the movies/TV shows, shifting gears = INSTANT LIGHTNING SPEED.

And they have the nerve to say that it's based on a true story.

I'm crying inside...
And if this is the same show I saw a trailer for, didn't they mention Ferrari 458, like, 538945 times? Like it was really important? Manual gearbox a 458 does not make

yeah they definitely made sure you knew they were driving a 458, except apparently they weren't

How was the rest of the show?

it wasn't bad, I'd watch the second episode. Some of the acting was over-dramatic, but it reminded me of Hawaii 5-0
